Faith-Based Deputy Director Medefind Takes Over for Hein

In a farewell e-mail, outgoing director of the White House Office of Faith-Based Initiatives Jay Hein announces his successor.

My service is ending a little earlier than I had planned due to some pressing family matters. Yet, I am excited to report that Jedd Medefind will be bringing his dynamic leadership to the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives for the remaining months of the Bush Administration. Jedd has recently served as Deputy Director of our office and earlier he directed the FBCI at the U.S. Department of Labor. He is well prepared to lead the Federal effort to support America's armies of compassion...
