The Boston Globe reports that the number of religious clubs meeting in public schools during off-hours is on the rise, thanks to the Supreme Court's 2001 Good News Club decision .

AP reports that Pledge of Allegiance challenger Michael Newdow is preparing to file a lawsuit requesting the removal of "In God We Trust" from U.S. currency.

Writing at the blog Panda's Thumb, Jack Krebs, the Vice-President of Kansas Citizens for Science, attempts to unpack the "fundamental religious argument" of the Intelligent Design movement in the Kansas Education Board's recent decision, and argues that the Board "may be in violation of the Establishment Clause."

Religion News Service's Tracy Simmons reports that President Bush is being urged to address the issue of religious freedom with the Chinese government on his trip to Asia.
